The East Locality are looking for Social Workers with at least 3 years post qualifying experience. These Teams hold a variety of cases including CASP, CP, PLO and Court cases.
Whilst we continue to offer flexible, hybrid working hours, many staff enjoy being in the office which provides team support and office spirit. We don’t offer fully hybrid roles; there will be a requirement to attend the office in between hybrid working.
The team manager and principal social worker have both been in their roles for a number of years and offer a wide range of experience and skills, high levels of support, guidance and advice. The team comes with varying levels of experience both as qualified and unqualified.
The team has a second PSW who case holds court cases but also provides additional support to the team and team manager. Training opportunities and monthly supervision will be provided.
You will be working in a busy, supportive skilled team that aims to make a positive impact on children and their families in order to improve their safety and well-being. As a social worker in Cardiff, you will make an impact on children’s lives. Through your commitment and dedication, you will help deliver high quality services and use a child-centred approach.
