Contract role
Vitalis are recruiting for an experienced Occupational Therapist to work in a Team in Bolton Council. An opportunity has arisen for 1x Senior Occupational Therapist (OT) on a 3-month contract within The Independent Living Service, supporting other professionals across the Council and NHS.
The role involves working with Social Workers, Community Assessment Officers (CAOs), and other health professionals. The Independent Living Service comprises Occupational Therapists, Disability Officers (CAOs), and the Discharge-to-Assess at-home, Sensory, and Telecare Teams.
The OT aims to provide specialist input to meet the needs of people with disabilities across the district, promoting their independence by offering advice/techniques, equipment, adaptations, and support. This post offers an opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of innovative ways of working across health and social care to improve the experience of people and carers in promoting their well-being and independence.
