Vitalis are recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to work in a Mental Health Team in Sutton Council. This role is for 2 Mental Health Social Workers working within the local authority mental health social care team, specifically working on a review project ensuring that annual Care Act and S117 reviews are completed. Within this, there will be a focus on ensuring services are equitable, right sized and individuals supported to move forward in their independence.
The Social Worker MUST be experienced in managing complex Adults Mental Health cases. They MUST have experience working in mental health for a Local Authority and completing statutory Care Act tasks, specifically Care Act assessments, reviews and care planning. They should have experience working alongside multi-disciplinary professionals, S117, attending ward rounds, working with Housing and brokerage, Court of Protection applications, Mental Health Tribunals, carrying out Safeguarding Enquiries and duty work.
The Social Worker should be a driver with their own transport to travel around the borough and out of borough when needed.
