Pay rate £38 per hour

Vitalis are recruiting for an experienced Occupational Therapist to work in the Advice and Wellbeing Hub in Reading Council.
Experienced Adult Social Services OT – with skills in assessing people in their homes to include moving and handling expertise, assessment and recommendations for major adaptations and provision of interventions to support people to maximise their independence.

The locum vacancy is for a short-term contract to work within the Advice and Wellbeing Hub OT Pathway to focus on reducing the OT wait list. The A&WH is a front door team offering support and intervention for up to 6-weeks to reduce risk and prevent/delay the need for care.

The OT will need to be within commutable distance of Reading due to the need to do home visits or to attend the Civic Offices for meetings.
