Contract role Youth Justice Service
Vitalis are recruiting for an experienced Children’s Social Worker in Hertfordshire.
There is to work in a Youth Justice Team for the St Albans, Dacorum, Stevenage areas.
Duties will include:
- Manage a caseload of children subject to out of court resolutions, community court orders, custody, and resettlement arrangements.
- Complete comprehensive assessments of behaviour, need, strengths, safeguarding concerns, and risks to others- actual and potential victims.
- Develop and deliver co-produced intervention plans to support prosocial identity, achieve positive change and achieve safety for all.
- Work closely with parents, carers, and families to support engagement and improve outcomes.
- Prepare high-quality reports for court proceedings, review meetings, and other statutory forums.
- Participate in court duty and operational duty systems, as required.
- Contribute to safeguarding and risk management processes, including multi-agency meetings and public protection arrangements where required.
- Maintain accurate case records (ChildView) and ensure compliance with local standards.
