The Opportunity: VitalHub is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Clinical Application Specialist to join our growing team and help improve the quality and efficiency of healthcare delivery worldwide. Working in a fast-paced HealthTech environment, our multidisciplinary team collaborates closely to meet the complex and changing needs of our clients and partners. As a Clinical Application Specialist, you will support the development and ongoing management of clinical guidelines within VitalHub’s MedCurrent solution. You will build strong relationships with clients and content partners, while helping shape VitalHub’s future clinical content strategy. Working within our client-focused culture, you will collaborate closely with the Product and Services teams. This role would be ideal for an individual that has demonstrable experience within Radiology or a clinical background within Nursing.
Your Responsibilities:
- Act as the key contact for clients and content partners on project implementation, clinical content development, quality assurance, and feedback, ensuring relevant documentation is maintained.
- Use MedCurrent’s Authoring Studio to create, update, and modify clinical guidelines for use within electronic CDS workflows.
- Map client orders to MedCurrent’s Master Catalogue and support ongoing catalogue maintenance.
- Map clinical data elements from client systems into CDS workflows.
- Use MedCurrent’s Analytics module to identify opportunities to improve clinical content and software functionality.
- Support product demonstrations and help develop client education materials.
- Support clinical testing of CDS software and help optimise the clinician experience.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to help shape MedCurrent’s long-term content strategy.
Essential Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Medical Radiation Sciences, Health Informatics, or a related applied health sciences discipline.
- Relevant clinical or informatics experience; experience as a physician assistant, nurse, radiological technologist, or internationally trained physician is essential.
- Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to respond promptly to client needs, embrace new ideas, and demonstrate a willingness to learn.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different locations.
- Client-focused, with a strong commitment to meeting client needs and enhancing the client experience.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with clinical terminology and coding, such as ICD-10, SNOMED CT, or CPT, would be an advantage.
