Helping our clients wash, dress and go to the bathroom, being there to help them get in and out of bed, and supporting them with mobility including the correct use of equipment. You may be supporting clients through their end-of-life journey.
Medication SupportHelping our clients with their medication as required and keeping accurate records.
Meal SupportPreparing and serving meals including supporting with feeding where required. Keep track and documenting our client’s fluid and food intake.
Household supportHelping our clients maintain a tidy and well-kept home by undertaking light housework. Helping clients care for their pets. Shopping for and with our clients as required.
CompanionshipKeeping our clients company and helping them stay physically active and engaged in hobbies, community activities and visiting friends and family.
Availability and other requirements- Have availability from 7am in the morning and can work every other weekend
- Comply with our policies and procedures
- Complete comprehensive and accurate records (eMAR or Visit Logs)
- Agree and work within your agreed availability
- Report any significant changes to health or circumstance or any risks, welfare or safeguarding concerns with clients
- Attend mandatory training, one-to-one supervisions and meetings where required
- Understand the role of the CQC and the guidance it sets out
- Promote good practices and report poor practices or concerns
- An understanding of and/or experience in care
- Full UK Driving License with Class 1 Business Use Insurance
- Access to a car that you can use for work
- Confident use of online care management system
- The right to work in the UK
- You’ll be highly organised and reliable
- You’ll be willing to learn new skills and to adapt
- You’ll have a positive, can-do attitude
- You are a great communicator, listening, speaking and writing
