Position Summary

The Mental Health Professional will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide crisis stabilization, assessments, and collaborate on treatment plans for inmates.

Essential Functions

• Provide crisis stabilization, complete intakes, ongoing evaluations, and consult with community services.
• Participate in behavioral health calls and collaborate with the medical team.
• Perform risk assessments, coordinate care, and discharge planning.
• Assist in planning and implementing program goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports.
• Utilize clinical skills such as crisis management, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing.
• Make independent clinical decisions with supervision as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor\’s in Social Work required.
• Preferred two years of experience in social work in a public or private agency.
• Satisfactory background check required.
