Prototype Hard Modeller (Contract)

We’re looking for experienced Prototype Hard Modellers to create high-quality physical prototypes. From intricate design models to full-size working demonstrators and show vehicles, you’ll bring a diverse range of concepts to life through precision craftsmanship and exceptional finishing. This is a project-based role where quality and meeting deadlines are essential. Flexibility to work overtime will be required when project timelines are tight. Key Responsibilities: Main responsibilities Build and finish physical prototypes, design models, full-size demonstrators and bespoke models across a variety of sectors. Carry out armature construction, blocking up, detailed hard modelling and final finishing. Deliver A-class surfacing and finishing to meet project specifications and applicable industry standards. Interpret CAD drawings and translate design requirements into accurate physical models. Adapt modelling techniques to suit the requirements of aerospace, future transport, automotive and bespoke projects. Work closely with designers, engineers and project teams to resolve technical challenges and deliver projects on time. Maintain consistent quality and attention to detail throughout each build. Follow health and safety procedures, including correct PPE use and safe handling of hazardous materials. Skills
