PARAMOUNT RETAIL GROUP LIMITED is a company that owns various pet companies including PetBrands and Vital Pet Group, along with the lifestyle company Dibor, and confectionery businesses Bristows of Devon and Crawford & Tilley, Montezumas and recently acquired Saltiare Brewery.
These are full-time roles for a Regional Business Development Manager based to cover regions across Midlands, East, West, South & South West. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, developing growth strategies, and overseeing regional sales activities. This is an in region role with 4 days on the road a week.
Responsibilities:
- Experience in Pet is advantageous.
- Confident in presenting, promoting and selling products using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
- Complete weekly report and meet KPIs set.
- Manage territory accounts and route planning in line with customer needs.
- Close sales and promote promotions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven work experience as a Sales Representative, pet preferred but not essential.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
- Ability to build productive business professional relationships.
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
- Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills.
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills.
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
