Vital People are currently recruiting an experienced PPT driver/warehouse operative to join our clients busy distribution centre in Haydock. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and want consistent, ongoing work.
All candidates must have a PPT licence (in house licences are accepted). Work is typically 80% PPT and 20% warehouse duties.
Shift: Monday to Friday 9.30pm Finish (8 hour shifts)
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating PPT to run freight
- Sorting parcels accurately and efficiently
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Dispatching parcels onto conveyor belts
- Organising parcels into the correct areas for delivery
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work area using pump truck
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience is essential
- PPT licence required (in house licences are accepted)
- 20% warehouse work, 80% PPT work
- Ability to lift parcels up to 25kg
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Basic understanding of written and spoken English
