Vital People are currently recruiting an experienced PPT driver/warehouse operative to join our clients busy distribution centre in Haydock. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and want consistent, ongoing work.

All candidates must have a PPT licence (in house licences are accepted). Work is typically 80% PPT and 20% warehouse duties.

Shift: Monday to Friday 9.30pm Finish (8 hour shifts)

Pay: £12.21 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating PPT to run freight
  • Sorting parcels accurately and efficiently
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Dispatching parcels onto conveyor belts
  • Organising parcels into the correct areas for delivery
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy work area using pump truck

Requirements:

  • Previous warehouse experience is essential
  • PPT licence required (in house licences are accepted)
  • 20% warehouse work, 80% PPT work
  • Ability to lift parcels up to 25kg
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Basic understanding of written and spoken English
