Vital People are recruiting an experienced Stock Controller (Nights) to join a fast-paced warehouse operation in Beeston. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong stock control experience who is confident working night shifts.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, packaging, and WIP stock
- Carry out daily cycle counts and periodic/annual stocktakes
- Use WMS systems (Vision, M3, Excel, Factory Track) to monitor, manage, and investigate stock discrepancies
- Produce variance reports (daily, weekly, monthly, year-end)
- Identify and report slow-moving and obsolete stock
- Ensure correct stock rotation (FIFO / FEFO)
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and key stakeholders
- Operate Counterbalance forklift truck as required
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and follow all health & safety procedures
- Valid Counterbalance forklift licence (in-date and accredited)
- Proven experience in stock control within a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Confident using inventory systems and Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable with manual handling tasks
- Committed to health & safety best practices
