Magnus Search is currently recruiting for two Quality Assurance Technologists to join a market-leading supplier of natural, plant-based ingredients based in Beeston (NG9). This is a brilliant opportunity to join a business at the forefront of food trends, supporting the production of high-quality vegetable-based menu solutions.
Available Rotas (5 Days per Week):
- Rota 1: Thursday to Monday (14:00-22:00)
- Rota 2: Tuesday to Saturday (14:00-22:00)
Candidates must be flexible to cover morning shifts (06:00-14:00) when required by the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain Standards: Support the Operations team to ensure quality and due diligence to food safety/GMP policies are met at all times.
- QMS & Auditing: Complete periodic checks for the Quality Management System and conduct audits to drive continuous improvement.
- Investigation: Lead investigations into quality incidents, non-conformances, and customer complaints.
- Taste Panels: Organize and lead taste panels to monitor product quality objectively.
- NPD Support: Work with the Process Development team to ensure new product launches meet agreed quality standards.
Requirements:
- Certifications: HACCP Level 2 and Food Safety Level 2 are essential.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar QA/Technical role within a manufacturing environment.
- IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams).
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
