Vital People are recruiting an experienced Production Planner to join one of our clients based in Beeston. This role is ideal for someone with strong planning experience who can manage production schedules efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage production plans for labour and equipment
- Liaise with Purchasing and SOP teams to ensure all amendments are actioned
- Ensure production schedules meet internal product specifications and technical standards
- Communicate orders, changes, and updates to internal stakeholders
- Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate system records
- Attend daily planning meetings to support operational delivery
Requirements:
- Proven experience in production planning
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience using MRP systems (M3 preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Food manufacturing experience beneficial
