Vital are working with a leading UK building, infrastructure, engineering and fit‑out company.
Electrical Supervisor required for a commercial refurbishment of a correctional facility near Hemel Hempstead.
Start Date: ASAP
Site Hours: 43 hours (basic Monday – Friday)
Duration: 9 months
Responsibilities:
- Oversee subcontractors and direct labor, liaise with management, and conduct toolbox talks.
- Supervise and manage labor, including subcontractors and direct staff.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members.
- Monitor work progress and ensure deadlines are met.
- Provide guidance and support to team members.
- Ensure a high standard of work.
- Implement Health and Safety in a positive manner, including PPE, RAMS, etc.
Minimum Requirements:
- SSSTS certification (or SMSTS).
- Approved electrician trade accreditation: ECS / JIB.
- First Aid certification (assistance can be given to gain).
- 18th Edition IEE Regulations preferable.
- Experience working on similar commercial building services projects.
- 2 working references.
- Ability to pass a security clearance process.
Compensation:
CIS: Standard Mon–Fri (43 hrs): up to £35.00 per hour (plus OT). PAYE pay rates available.
