The predicted salary is between 50000 - 65000 £ per year.

Our client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor with strong NEC4 knowledge and experience in HV M&E installation within a civils EPC contractor environment. The ideal candidate will have commercial experience across the Civil & HV M&E Installation interface, with an appreciation of civil works but predominantly high-voltage electrical infrastructure as this is the scope we will be delivering.

They should be confident managing the full and typical QS function, including cost reporting, valuations, change control, compensation events, subcontract management, and final accounts under NEC4 contracts. The candidate will liaise closely with the Project Manager and Contracts Managers. Experience on major power, utilities, energy, or infrastructure projects would be highly beneficial.

Start immediate (2 weeks of confirming candidate). End date: 12 month contract will likely be extended for the right candidate.

  • Rates circa £500 per day all in
  • Based on the construction site for Uxbridge Moor substation near Heathrow
  • Expectation is that the role will be site based 5 days per week (50 hour week)
  • Some limited travel to 3rd party locations based on project needs, meetings etc.
