I am currently recruiting on behalf of a key rail client for experienced, time-served PTS Electricians to join a well-established team on a long-term contract basis.
My client places strong emphasis on team culture and inclusion. Contractors are treated as valued members of the workforce and fully integrated alongside permanent staff.
Based in York, you will be working on projects across the route from Carlisle to St Pancras.
Lodging and transport will be provided, making this a highly attractive role for candidates willing to work away from home.
Key Requirements
- Valid PTS with AC DCCR rail experience
- Hold JIB Gold Card, 18th Edition and 2391 I&T
- Proven experience working with up to 650V feeder vaults, Battery renewals, 650V fault finding.
- Strong electrical rail background with hands-on experience in Crimping, Terminating, Megger (Mega) and Cable testing.
- Have your own small hand tools (all other specialist testing equipment will be provided)
This role is ideally suited to a time-served PTS Electrician looking for the security of long-term contract work on planned and reactive work.
