We are seeking a team of qualified and experienced PTS Electricians to join our client’s team in the rail industry. If you’re based around Southend-on-Sea and have the required qualifications and experience, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs within the rail industry.
- Ensure work complies with safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Conduct inspections and testing on electrical systems and equipment.
- Assist with the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems across rail projects.
- Provide support on-site and contribute to the successful completion of tasks.
Essential Qualifications/Experience:
- PTS Certification: Must hold a valid Personal Track Safety (PTS) certification.
- City & Guilds Level 3: Minimum of City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
- 2391 Inspection & Testing: Must hold 2391 Inspection and Testing certification.
- 18th Edition: Up-to-date 18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations.
- Previous experience in the rail industry, particularly with electrical systems and installations.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Holding a COSS ticket would be ideal but not essential.
