PTS Civils Operative (White/Blue Hats) South Yorkshire (Doncaster, Rotherham, Barnsley) Rates to be discussed on application. We are currently recruiting for a PTS Operative working in the South Yorkshire region. Shift patterns cross 7 days and will be a combination of days, nights and including weekends. This role is for an ongoing position within one of our Access Improvement teams which will give you access to a van & fuel card (if eligible/required). Essential Experience/Skills – * Experience working in or near rail environments and familiarity with trackside conditions. * Personal Track Safety (PTS) Certification. * Candidates must be willing and able to work away from home both on weekends and during midweek shifts as required. * Full Clean UK Driving License for a minimum of 2 years with no bans in the previous 5 years to be able to drive VITAL vehicles (Desirable). Desirable Experience/Skills – * Vegetation tickets i.e. Strimmer, Brush Cutter & Hedge Trimmer. * Small Tools Tickets i.e., rail saw, rail drill, impact wrench, Kango, sleeper drill etc… * Experience with basic construction or civil engineering tasks, including installing and maintaining access systems such as ladders, platforms, or walkways. * Experience in drainage, troughing or cable works * Experience with other railway infrastructure systems, such as signalling/ telecommunications. Other desired competencies can be provided and developed through training if not already held. Vital are the currently supplier of the contingency labour framework to Network Rail over the next 4 years. This opportunity gives the chance for long term & secure work with the chance to progress for the right individuals. Due to the contract with Network Rail, we are only able to pay via Umbrella or PAYE through Vital. We are unable to pay CIS or Ltd Company
