Morson Vital have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Rail P6 Planner to support the planning, scheduling and reporting of UK rail infrastructure projects. You will play a key role in programme development, progress tracking and stakeholder reporting across multidisciplinary rail works.

This role suits a planner with strong Primavera P6 expertise and a solid understanding of Network Rail delivery environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain and update Primavera P6 programmes for rail projects
  • Produce baseline, target and updated schedules aligned to project milestones
  • Progress tracking, critical path analysis and programme risk identification
  • Support possession planning, access constraints and construction sequencing
  • Prepare reports, dashboards and look-ahead schedules for clients and delivery teams
  • Interface with Project Managers, Engineers, Commercial and Site teams
  • Ensure programme compliance with Network Rail standards and governance
Essential Experience & Skills
  • Proven experience as a Planner on UK rail projects
  • Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6
  • Understanding of Network Rail GRIP / PACE / CP7 environments
  • Experience with possession planning and blockade constraints
  • Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple programme inputs
