Mechanical Supervisor required for a large commercial project based near Newquay, Cornwall.
Start date: ASAP
Site hours: 43 hrs basic Mon – Fri
Duration: On-going / long term
Duties:
- Overseeing sub contract and direct labour, liaising with management, and tool box talks.
- Supervising and managing labour, including sub contractors and direct staff.
- Managing a work programme: assigning tasks and responsibilities to team members.
- Monitoring work progress and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Providing guidance and support to team members.
- Ensuring a high standard of work.
- Implementing Health and Safety in a positive manner, PPE, RAMS etc.
Requirements:
- SSSTS Certification (or SMSTS), Mechanical trade accreditation.
- Experience of working on similar large building services commercial new build projects.
- 2 x working references.
