Civils Foreman – Rail Location: Galway, Ireland Contract: 6-Month Rolling Contract IR35: Outside IR35 Monday to Friday in Ireland We are currently looking for an experienced Civils Foreman to support upcoming works on a rail project based at a station in Galway, Ireland. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Civils Foreman with a strong background in rail and civil engineering projects. Due to the nature of the project, candidates must hold a valid PTS and be willing to stay in Ireland Monday to Friday for the duration of the contract. Key Responsibilities * Manage and coordinate day-to-day civils activities on site * Supervise subcontractors, operatives and site teams * Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards * Coordinate site activities, logistics and sequencing of works * Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and rail site requirements * Monitor progress and provide regular updates to the wider project team * Work closely with engineers, project management and commercial teams * Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications * Maintain high standards of quality throughout all works * Assist with site meetings and the coordination of upcoming works What We’re Looking For * Previous experience as a Civils Foreman, General Foreman, Site Foreman or Site Supervisor * Valid PTS is essential * Strong civil engineering experience, ideally within the rail sector * Experience working within live station or rail environments would be highly advantageous * Strong experience managing site teams, subcontractors and civils packages * Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements * Ability to read and interpret construction drawings * Strong leadership and communication skills * Must be willing and able to stay in Ireland Monday to Friday * Full driving licence preferred
