Join Vital Healthcare as an IT Project Manager on a 12‐month fixed‐term contract. You will drive the delivery of IT and business change projects, ensuring that benefits are realised, scope is controlled, and stakeholders are kept informed.
About the role
Reporting to the Head of Change in IT, you will manage the full project life cycle for a range of IT and business change initiatives. Your technical leadership, risk management and stakeholder engagement will be critical to the success of each deployment.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for the delivery and governance of allocated IT and business change projects.
- Ensure quality standards, project procedures and deadlines are adhered to.
- Plan and deliver the product within quality standards.
- Provide technical leadership over project planning, resourcing, change readiness of the user base and application design and architecture.
- Support business areas in defining the business case and associated benefits for a project.
- Act as an advocate for new capability, offering expert advice and counsel to the user base, owning communication plans and ensuring required connections are made across functional/location lines.
- Set a framework for the provision and support of solutions after delivery into BAU operations.
Qualifications
- Strong project management experience in both IT and Change projects.
- Thorough knowledge of hardware, software and data management.
- Experience of BI and MI platforms and provision of effective BI to support data driven decision making.
- Experience delivering solutions and portals in MS SharePoint and the wider O365 suite.
- Strong stakeholder experience with the ability to gain buy‐in at senior management level.
- Experience understanding business and technical requirements and developing effective solutions.
- Good appreciation and understanding of application and enterprise architecture with the ability to apply this knowledge to shape solution design.
