How you’ll power our business as an IT Project Manager:
- Reporting into the Head of Change in the IT department, you will be responsible for the Project Management of a range of IT and business change projects.
- This involves defining the project delivery, managing time, cost, quality and scope whilst ensuring that benefit realisation for the organisation is maximised.
- You will be looked to for technical leadership, reporting, appropriate management of finances, risk and issues, and to be the force driving project delivery through to a successful deployment.
Here’s What You’ll Be Doing:
- Accountable for the delivery and appropriate governance of allocated IT and business change projects.
- Ensures quality standards, project procedures, and deadlines are adhered to.
- Plans and ensures delivery of the product within quality standards.
- Undertakes a technical leadership over project planning, project resourcing, change readiness of the user base in advance of delivery, and coordination of application design and architecture.
- Supports business areas in defining the business case and associated benefits for a project.
- Acts as an advocate for new capability being delivered, offering expert advice and counsel to the user base, owning communication plans and ensuring required connections are made across functional/location lines.
- Sets a framework for the provision and support of solutions after delivery into BAU operations.
What We’ll Need From You:
- Strong project management experience in both IT and Change projects.
- Thorough knowledge of hardware, software, and data management.
- Strong experience of BI and MI platforms and of provision of effective BI to support data‑driven decision making.
- Experience of delivery of solutions and portals in MS SharePoint, and within the wider O365 suite.
- Strong stakeholder experience with the ability to gain buy‑in at senior management level.
- Experience of understanding business and technical requirements and developing effective solutions.
- Good appreciation and understanding of application and enterprise architecture with the ability to apply this knowledge to shape solution design.
