Due to our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to play a leading role in the growth and management of our Design teams across our Blackburn and Glasgow offices. You will play a vital role within the design function by producing calculations, drawings, and documentation that support the delivery of major projects in renewable energy, sustainability, power infrastructure, and power generation-contributing directly to the transition to net zero. In addition to receiving tailored support from experienced electrical engineers at all levels, you will follow a comprehensive development plan designed to promote internal progression through senior, principal, associate director, and director roles. This pathway also supports your journey toward chartered status while expanding your expertise across a diverse range of projects.

- InputtingintothepreparationofHAZOPstudies
- Carryingoutrelevantequipmentselectionforprojects
What you will need
- DemonstrableexperienceproducingelectricaldesignsforPowerGeneration,PowerTransmission,RenewableEnergy,BuildingServicesorsimilarequipment
- IdeallyeducatedtoatleastHNC/HNDlevelinElectricalEngineering,preferablytoDegreelevel
- KnowledgeofBS7671WiringRegulations
- ExperiencewithAmtechdesignsoftware(advantageous)
- Anunderstandingofpneumatic&hydraulics(advantageous)
- ExperiencewithmotorVSDcontrolsandMCCequipment(advantageous)
- FullUKmanualdrivinglicence
