If so, we are looking for a Skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our specialist O&M team and take direct responsibility for the day‑to‑day operation and maintenance of vital plantrooms across London. This position suits candidates with an Electrical Maintenance background who have experience with HVAC, heat pumps, refrigeration, pumping or similar plantroom equipment and who are ready to develop their experience on larger, higher‑value projects that include conventional and renewable energy systems.
Responsibilities
- Deliver planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance for plantrooms and renewable energy systems at high‑profile public sector sites and private sector facilities.
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Provide technical assistance to clients, contractors and colleagues within the scope of operations while meeting QHSE objectives and customer service requirements.
- Ensure statutory and mandatory inspections are carried out and documented in line with the company’s management system.
- Accurately maintain and submit relevant documentation and records as required.
- Undertake subcontractor management where necessary.
- Respond to issues as part of a call‑out rota.
Skills and Experience
- Recognised electrical engineering qualification or time‑served.
- Demonstrable electrical maintenance and fault‑finding experience covering heating, refrigeration, pumping or similar plantroom equipment.
- Forces leavers/Ex‑Forces members with transferable experience are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge or experience with renewable energy technologies such as heat pumps and solar is highly advantageous.
- Full UK manual driving licence.
