Due to continuing growth, we are looking to add a Revit Coordinator to join our onsite team located at Gatwick. The role will include working on site as well as our London office.

The Company Vital Energi is a leading provider of renewable energy infrastructure and systems to the public and private sectors. We are supporting Hospitals, Universities, New Build developments, Towns and Cities as well as Industrial and Commercial clients to decarbonise their buildings. We have and continue to work on ground-breaking projects throughout the UK which are supporting the UK’s Net Zero targets, such as the recently announced £1 billion low-carbon infrastructure project for Westminster.

The role will support current projects, specifically the Gatwick Airport project, through the production of 3D models in Revit and AutoCAD. The successful candidate must:

  • Have proven experience in producing coordinated MEP models in Revit and be able to deliver to industry BIM standards.
  • Be willing to split working location between Gatwick and the London office.
  • Be willing to apply for DBS checks.

This position is subject to obtaining security clearance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Capable of working to procedures – both client and Vital Energi.
  • Ensure that drawings are produced quickly and accurately in a consistent format with the minimum of supervision.
  • Capable of high competency using Revit, AutoCAD & Navisworks.
  • Produce 3D Coordinated MEP models in Revit and ensure accuracy, integration, and compliance with BIM standards.
  • Ensure all outputs meet project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and industry requirements.
  • Experience with using ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud) desirable.
  • Experience with Cobie Data and Asset Information Clash Detection using Navisworks.
  • Conduct regular 3D model reviews with our design team and client team.
  • Ability to attend site when required to take down survey data and transform into Revit drawings.
  • Interpret mark-ups by project personnel and produce clear drawings.
  • Follow and apply quality assurance standards.
  • Be a mentor to trainees and apprentices.

Qualifications:

  • A sound computer literate background is essential.
  • A recognized qualification in engineering such as ONC or HNC or equivalent is expected.

Experience:

  • 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Previous experience within a design consultancy is preferable but not essential.
  • Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD (from version 2011).
