The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
Due to continuing growth, we require a Pump Engineer/ Pump Technician to strengthen the existing Operations & Maintenance team located within the London Area.
About the role
You will play a key role in delivering sustainable energy solutions by ensuring the reliability and efficiency of pump systems across a range of innovative projects. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical expertise, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You will be joining a business that is committed to driving the UK's transition to low carbon energy and making a real impact on the future of energy infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair various pump systems including centrifugal, booster, and submersible pumps used in heating, cooling, and energy systems.
- Carry out fault-finding and diagnostics on mechanical pump systems, identifying and resolving issues to minimise downtime and optimise performance.
- Work from technical drawings, specifications, and schematics to ensure precise installation and alignment of pump units and associated pipework.
- Collaborate with project and design teams to support the commissioning of new energy systems and infrastructure projects across commercial and industrial sites.
- Conduct routine service inspections and preventive maintenance in line with company schedules and health & safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation for compliance and quality assurance, reporting any operational risks or system inefficiencies.
What you will need
- Hold a City & Guilds qualification or equivalent.
- Experience with mechanical seals, bearings and pressurisation units.
- Full UK manual driving licence.
