If so, due to continuing success, we are experiencing rapid and extensive growth in all business sectors, and we are looking to recruit a Senior or Managing Quantity Surveyor with a successful background in the world of Construction.

You will join our Commercial team supporting a variety of projects in Nottingham and surrounding areas.

Based in Nottingham, you will support financial management of contracts, in partnership with the Contracts Managers and/or Project Managers.

  • Vet contract documentation on receipt from Client to ensure compatibility with the Company’s Tender and subsequent negotiations.
  • Produce Commercial Risk Register for each contract.
  • Monitor risk and assist in implementation of agreed mitigation measures.
  • Prepare and issue enquiries for Major Plant & Equipment and Sub-Contract packages.
  • Measure, submit and agree Variations, Loss & Expense and/or Compensation Events in accordance with contractual provisions to facilitate prompt agreement of Final Accounts.
  • Attend Contract Review Meetings.
  • Authorisation and coding of Suppliers’ and Sub-Contractors’ Invoices and submission to Finance.
