Quantity Surveyor
Would you like to be part of Vital Energi's 5-year Strategy of Growth?
If so, due to our continuing success, we are experiencing rapid and extensive growth across all business sectors and are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor with a successful background in construction.
You will join our Commercial team, supporting a variety of projects across the North West region.
You will support the financial management of contracts in partnership with the Contracts Managers and/or Project Managers.
What you will be doing
Work in partnership with site management, commercially supporting sites as required, to develop a proactive site team.
Ensure that contractual obligations are identified and administered.
Vet contract documentation on receipt from the client to ensure compatibility with the Company's tender and subsequent negotiations.
Produce a Commercial Risk Register for each contract. Monitor risk and assist in implementing agreed mitigation measures.
Prepare and issue enquiries for major plant and equipment and subcontract packages.
Vet quotations commercially and negotiate prices and terms with vendors.
Issue resultant purchase orders.
