BMS Commissioning Engineer in Leeds, Yorkshire

If so, we are looking for a BMS Commissioning Engineer to join our specialist team where they will take direct responsibility for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of a number of Vital Energi's plantrooms, solar farms, and boiler rooms. This role will involve travelling and working away from home, so please only apply if you are willing to travel/work away - Travel is UK wide.

The Role:

• Develop detailed commissioning plans, risk assessments, and method statements.
• PLC Programming.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve commissioning issues, escalating where necessary.
• Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients throughout the commissioning process.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies at all times.
• Travel to and from different sites.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the commissioning department.
• Plan, manage, and carry out commissioning activities across solar farms, energy centres, and boiler houses.

Qualifications & Experience:

• HNC/HND or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering.
• Proven experience in commissioning within the energy, utilities, or renewables sectors.
• Strong understanding of control systems, instrumentation, and electrical safety.
• Knowledge of/experience with Renewable Energy technologies such as Heat Pumps and Solar will be highly advantageous.
• Full UK manual driving licence.
