The UK Sales Team requires a highly motivated Key Account Manager to cover London & South East territory. Taking full accountability for the sales performance of the territory, you will promote Vitaflo’s Metabolic, Drug Resistant Epilepsy, and Nephrology portfolios to a broad range of current and prospective customers, including Dietitians, Dietetic Assistants, Specialist Nurses, Consultants, Pharmacy/Procurement professionals, as well as the end-users (patients). The UK is a highly successful and strategically important market for Vitaflo, giving you an excellent opportunity to work with some key opinion leaders within the area of clinical nutrition in the UK. The role would be ideally suited to someone in an existing or former sales role, who is looking to further their career in account management by demonstrating their business acumen, and selling & negotiation skills at the highest level.

What will you do?

  • Promotion of the Metabolic, Drug Resistant Epilepsy, and Nephrology portfolios.
  • Build a business plan that reflects accountability and responsibility for local territory targets, and supports the achievement of National sales targets.
  • Liaise with existing and prospective customers to maintain current business and uncover new opportunities for sales growth.
  • Work effectively with internal departments to maximise results and compound Vitaflo’s market leader status.
  • Anticipate and measure sales results consistently, implementing corrective actions and learnings.
  • Complete sales activity reports and presentations in a timely manner.
  • Attendance of local and National conferences & events in-person and/or by virtual channels.
  • Organisation and attendance of local patient engagement events.
  • Cross boundary support of other territories, as required.
  • Exceed all KPI including but not limited to, customer "Coverage" and call rates.
  • Maintain accurate records within the CRM system.
  • Deliver maximum Return on Investment with all activities, including patient engagement events, as well as managing a territory budget as appropriate.
  • Any other duties as required.

Key Requirements

  • Experienced in healthcare or nutrition sales.
  • Educated to degree level in a scientific field, or possess other relevant qualifications.
  • Based within easy access of one or more of the territory’s Tertiary hospitals (Great Ormond Street or The Evelina).
  • A proven record of applying selling skills training in interactions with healthcare professionals.
  • Proficiency with all technological requirements of the role, including Salesforce CRM, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Power BI dashboards.
  • You have a tenacious attitude towards achieving targets and personal objectives.
  • You have a continuous improvement mindset that reflects the ability to overcome barriers and find solutions.
  • You understand the need to deliver ROI with your expenditure and your capacity, and are able to prioritise both.
  • You build successful working relationships quickly with people at all levels.
  • You are capable of using initiative and working independently, as well as working well with a wider field-based team.
  • You have excellent communication skills to effectively deliver key messages to a wide audience.
  • Comfortable communicating with customers via all channels: in-person, video calls, telephone, and email.
  • Able and willing to support National events and conferences across the UK; often including weekends.
  • A full, UK driving license is essential for this role.
