An ambitious and growing UK business is seeking an experienced Head of FP&A to join its senior finance leadership team. This is a high-profile role offering significant exposure to executive stakeholders and the opportunity to influence strategic decision-making across a large and complex operation. The successful candidate will lead all aspects of financial planning, forecasting, performance reporting and business insight, helping to drive commercial performance and support continued growth.

The Opportunity

This is an outstanding opportunity for a commercially focused finance leader who enjoys operating close to the business, influencing decision-making and driving performance improvement. You will play a central role in shaping financial strategy, improving planning and reporting processes, and providing meaningful insight to support operational and commercial leaders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes.
  • Provide insightful financial analysis and performance reporting to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders to drive business performance and profitability.
  • Deliver high-quality monthly management reporting, forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Lead financial planning and reporting activities for senior leadership and wider group stakeholders.
  • Develop and enhance financial models, reporting tools and forecasting methodologies.
  • Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, systems and controls.
  • Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing FP&A team.
  • Support business growth initiatives, investment decisions and operational efficiency programmes.

About You

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
  • Significant post-qualification experience within a senior finance leadership role.
  • Strong FP&A, commercial finance and business partnering experience.
  • Proven track record of operating within a large, complex and fast-paced organisation.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge and support senior leaders.
  • Experience leading and developing finance teams.
  • Highly analytical, commercially minded and focused on delivering tangible business outcomes.
