Payroll Administrator - 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract Royston, Hertfordshire (Hybrid - 2 days per week in the office) £30,000 - £32,000 + Benefits Our client, a well-established and highly successful organisation with a supportive and collaborative culture, is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their close-knit payroll team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role is based in Royston, with a hybrid pattern of 2 days a week in the office. The Role You'll work as part of a small team to run the monthly UK payroll, making sure employees are paid accurately and on time. It's a varied role with plenty of contact across the business. Key responsibilities include: - Processing the monthly UK payroll from start to finish - Answering payroll queries from employees and stakeholders - Validating and reconciling payroll output - Producing costing files and month-end reports for the Finance team - Reconciling month-end payments to HMRC and the pension provider - Supporting year-end processes - Helping to create and review payroll policies and procedures About You - Previous experience in a payroll role - Good knowledge of UK payroll legislation - Experience with Dayforce or a similar payroll system would be an advantage - A proactive, solutions-focused approach - Keen to improve processes and work more efficiently - A team player who is adaptable and happy to help where needed If you're an experienced Payroll Administrator looking for your next challenge with a recognised and well-respected organisation, please read and apply.
