We are seeking a Management Accountant to join a dynamic and fast-paced team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on managing a variety of financial responsibilities, ensuring compliance, and delivering accurate and timely reports. From preparing management accounts to ensuring compliance with financial regulations, this role offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled professional.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Producing financial statements, including departmental profit and loss accounts and monthly management accounts.

Reviewing calculations and reconciliations for accruals and prepayments.

Managing VAT, Landfill Tax, and Aggregate Levy returns, including reconciliation, submission, and payment.

Handling daily bank reconciliations and fixed asset register preparation.

Arranging hire purchase agreements and overseeing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany accounts.

Assisting in the preparation of statutory accounts and supporting audit schedules.

Maintaining compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
We’re looking for a self-driven, detail-oriented individual who can juggle multiple priorities with ease. The ideal candidate will have:

A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 2 years of post-qualification experience.

Proven technical accounting ability and advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, IF functions, and lookups.

Experience with Sage 200 (preferred).

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
