Job Description

Head of Finance\\nHemel Hempstead\\nĀ£80,000 – Ā£90,000 + Benefits.\\nHybrid (Min 2 days in the office)\\n\\nOur client, is a fast-scaling, founder-led consumer business with a strong international retail and e-commerce presence. Following sustained high growth and recent investment, the company is now building a best-in-class in-house finance function to support its next phase of expansion.\\n\\nThey are seeking a commercially minded Head of Finance to take ownership of financial control, reporting, systems, and insight. This is initially a hands-on role with genuine influence, working closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership team.\\n\\nKey focus areas include:\\n\\n- Building and leading an in-house finance function\\n\\n- Monthly management reporting, forecasting, and cash flow control\\n\\n- Integration of finance and inventory systems across multiple 3PL partners\\n\\n- Improving stock accuracy, margin visibility, and working capital\\n\\n- Supporting commercial and strategic decision-making in a high-growth environment\\n\\nAbout you:\\n\\n- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified\\n\\n- Proven Head of Finance, Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager experience in an SME or high-growth business\\n\\n- Strong inventory and stock accounting expertise\\n\\n- Confident working in entrepreneurial, fast-paced environments\\n\\n- Experience with ERP / accounting systems (ideally Sage 250 and the Sage stock module) and multi-channel operations\\n\\nThe offer:\\nThis role offers a competitive salary with a performance-related bonus, alongside a hybrid working model that provides flexibility around on-site presence.
