Finance Manager, Central London (Hybrid working)
£70,000 – £75,000 per annum plus great benefits including a bonus of up to 20%
Our client, an exciting, rapidly growing business, has created a new role to support their next growth phase. The Finance Manager will work closely with the Finance Director and the wider team in developing their financial platform to ensure the business is fully scalable for its next phase of growth.
Key Duties:
- Coordination of quarterly reporting including variance analysis & commentary at project and fund level.
- Assist in preparation of board packs and commentary on performance at project, fund, and manager levels.
- Responsible for undertaking timely and accurate monthly reporting including variance analysis and commentary for all manager group entities.
- Responsible for the coordination of the year-end audit for project, fund, and manager including preparation of financial statements for manager group entities.
- Cash flow management, including optimizing working capital and maintaining liquidity forecasts at project, fund, and manager level.
- Coordination of tax compliance at project, fund, and manager level.
- Ensure monthly VAT filings are accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
- Oversee quarterly regulatory filing due to FCA.
- Ensure a robust control environment is in place, identifying areas of concern and recommendations for mitigation.
- Continuously assess and drive the improvement of processes within the finance function and across the business, ensuring that processes are appropriately documented and automated where possible.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be fully qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) and have a strong understanding of both management and statutory accounting principles and routines, including monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts preparation. Given the nature of the business, an understanding of fund accounting principles is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
