Our client, a market-leading and well-established business based in Watford, is looking to appoint a talented Commercial Finance Analyst to join their high-performing commercial finance team. The Role
This is a highly varied position that will provide exposure across multiple areas of finance, enabling you to build a well-rounded commercial skillset. You'll play a key role in delivering meaningful financial insight to support strategic decision-making and business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the month-end close process, including P&L analysis and reporting
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles
- Produce regular financial reports, analysis, and performance commentary
- Partner with non-finance stakeholders to provide insight, challenge, and support
- Analyse data to identify trends, risks, and commercial opportunities
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting processes and systems
About You
This role would suit a driven and ambitious individual looking to build a long-term career within commercial finance. You'll be naturally analytical, inquisitive, and confident working with both data and stakeholders across the business. Ideally, you will have:
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, (1st or 2.1)
- A Grade A Levels
- Active study towards ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualification (finalist or passed finalist preferred)
- A proactive mindset with the confidence to challenge, question, and improve processes
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
