Our client, a household brand based in Hemel Hempstead has a rare opportunity for a Group Reporting Accountant to make a move into a fast paced, high profile role in industry. Working closely with the Group Financial Controller you will play a key role in the continued growth of the business. This role has excellent long term, developmental opportunities within the business.
Key Duties:
- Preparation of year end statutory accounts for all Group companies
- Responsibility and ownership of accounting and reporting of group entities
- Preparing budgets, forecasts and helping to deliver improved KIPs throughout the business
- Review of period end balance sheet reconciliations prepared by the business
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations for payroll related balance sheet accounts
- Management of daily cash-flow and general banking related matters
- Co-ordination and management of year-end audit, main point of contact for external auditors
- Ad-hoc project work
The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified with a strong record of achievement to date. You will have recent experience of consolidation and a good awareness of accounting legislation principles. You must be flexible, organised and able to meet strict deadlines. You will have excellent attention to detail, first class communication skills and the ability to work closely with Senior Management.
