Management Accountant
East London (3 days office / 2 days remote)
£37,000 - £40,000 per annum + benefits
We are partnering with a growing organisation in East London to recruit a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join their finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified finance professional looking to step into a broad and hands-on role within a supportive team environment.
Reporting to the senior leadership, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, supporting month-end processes, and ensuring accurate financial reporting across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post monthly journals, including accruals and prepayments
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations (bank, stock, intercompany and fixed assets)
- Support and deliver the month-end close process within agreed deadlines
- Produce monthly P&L analysis with clear and insightful commentary
- Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly EU VAT returns
- Liaise with external accountants, providing information for statutory reporting and VAT queries
- Produce monthly global client revenue
About You:
- Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong general ledger experience with exposure to month-end processes
- Confident managing reconciliations across multiple accounts
- Comfortable working with international entities and multi-currency environments
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- A collaborative team player who can also work independently
