You may already have factory, manufacturing, or warehouse experience, which gives you the starting blocks to be an ideal candidate, but don’t worry, no experience is needed and full training will be provided.
Our salad leaves are at their best when kept cool, so average temperatures of our factory are around 5°C. To help within this cooler environment, we supply company PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to keep you warm, free hot drinks, and a great canteen to fuel up on your breaks.
Don’t have personal transport? Don’t worry, we’ve got that covered. Vitacress Salads offers a Vitabus Service for our employees, supporting them across the Andover surrounding area with their transport needs.
We have a variety of processes within different areas of our factory, so we need different skills on our night shift. - Factory Operative - £28,297.36 Annual Salary: Responsible for effectively feeding raw material, crates, pack lines, bowls, and finished goods, and support other production line personnel in achieving targeted output.
- Service Operative - £29,804.32 Annual Salary: Responsible for managing stock, maintaining traceability, and controlling movement of raw materials.
- Intake Operative - £32,399.64 Annual Salary: Responsible for loading and unloading vehicles, ensuring all health and safety standards are met and adhered to, accurately booking in raw material to maintain all traceability, picking and preparing customer orders, scanning products, and transporting orders from the factory to the vehicles using PPT (Pallet Powered Truck).
- Machine Operative - £35,413.56 Annual Salary: Responsible for ensuring that machines run safely at optimum efficiency, keeping the machine clean and tidy, adhering to specifications, minimising waste where possible, and conducting basic mechanical duties.
All candidates will go through an assessment when applying for our factory roles. This will consist of a face-to-face interview, some team-based activities, and an ESOL test (English Language Assessment). Finally, we will give you a factory tour, providing you the opportunity to see first-hand what Vitacress has to offer. Based on your skill set and experience, we’ll be sure to place you in a role we believe best fits your capabilities, and we always have options for development.
