Shift Pattern
4 shifts per week on a Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri, 4pm to 2.30am pattern

- In this role you'll…
- Respond to breakdowns and carry out planned maintenance to keep our equipment performing at its best.
- Ensure machinery is safe, reliable and fit for purpose at all times.
- Support the Engineering Shift Leader in planning and prioritising maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate engineering records and update maintenance systems.
- Follow engineering procedures when carrying out repairs, replacements and equipment modifications.
- Investigate faults, identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
- Help improve plant reliability, reduce downtime and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Share technical knowledge and support colleagues across engineering and production teams.
- Contribute to the development of preventative maintenance programmes and site safety improvements.
- You can do this if you have…
- Previous experience working within an FMCG, food manufacturing or similar production environment.
- A recognised electrical engineering qualification to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
- Experience working with PLC-controlled equipment.
- A good understanding of engineering safety principles and safe working practices.
- The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- A logical and methodical approach to problem solving.
- The ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop.
