In this role you will…
- Work as part of the engineering team reporting to the Shift Engineering Lead
- Take a hands‑on approach to maintenance within a fast‑paced food manufacturing environment
- Support production by keeping machinery running efficiently and safely
- Work collaboratively with Production, Technical, and Hygiene teams
- Operate across different areas of the site with flexibility
- Contribute to continuous improvement and site performance
You can do this if you…
- Have a recognised electrical mechanical qualification (e.g. HNC, HND, BTEC L3, City & Guilds, or relevant apprenticeship) or experience in a similar working environment
- Can carry out both reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Can diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults effectively
- Can read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
- Work with pneumatic systems and carry out basic fabrication/welding
- Analyse problems and implement practical, timely solutions
- Plan and prioritise tasks while working under pressure
