Account Director, ESG Reporting to join their dynamic team.
Role Overview:
As Account Director, ESG Reporting, you will lead and manage key client accounts, overseeing end-to-end ESG reporting projects. You’ll be responsible for developing tailored reporting strategies that meet client sustainability goals while aligning with global ESG frameworks. You’ll work alongside a passionate team of experts, providing clients with actionable insights and guidance on emerging trends and best practices in ESG reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for key client accounts, managing their ESG reporting needs
- Develop and execute custom ESG reporting strategies, ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry best practices
- Oversee the preparation and delivery of high-quality ESG reports, in line with frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, and others
- Lead internal teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of projects, while maintaining high standards of quality
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering ongoing strategic advice and insights
- Provide thought leadership on ESG reporting trends, regulatory changes, and new frameworks
- Drive business development, identifying opportunities for new projects and services with existing clients
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in sustainability, ESG regulations, and reporting standards
About You:
- 3+ years of experience in ESG reporting, sustainability consulting, or a related field
- Expertise in ESG reporting frameworks and regulations (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD)
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and client accounts simultaneously
- Strong communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to build long-term partnerships
- Ability to think strategically and provide actionable advice to clients
- Proactive, solution-focused with excellent project management skills
- Experience working remotely and managing teams in a virtual environment
