Night-Time Customer Service Assistant – Sheffield
Hourly Rate: £13
Working Hours: 9pm – 6am, 1 shift per week, Monday to Sunday

We are seeking a Night-time Customer Service Assistant to deliver a luxury, home-from-home experience for residents while ensuring our site & facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
Role Overview:
Provide exceptional, personalized service to residents by anticipating their needs, offering local information, and handling inquiries to create a seamless experience. Maintain the upkeep of our site & facilities.
- Greet and welcome students and guests warmly at front of house/reception.
- Address questions and assist as needed.
- Ensure communal areas are cleaned and maintained to high standards during the shift.
- Respectfully manage the facilities\’ use by students & guests.
- Resolve issues or challenges promptly.
- Conduct regular building surveys (block walks) every 4-6 hours, reporting findings.
- Replenish refreshments like coffee, tea, milk, and vending items.
- Manage parcel storage for easy student access.
- Act as the primary contact for incidents or emergencies onsite.
- Maintain waste areas according to health & safety regulations, addressing hazards as needed.
Candidate Profile:
Experience:
- Experienced in delivering premium customer service.
- Comfortable with cleaning tasks; proactive in maintaining cleanliness and safety.
- Technologically savvy with relevant systems/software.
Personal Traits:
- Respectful of cultural diversity, delivering an inclusive approach.
- Excellent communication skills; multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills; calm under pressure.
- Creative, positive, adaptable, resilient.
- Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with reasonable adjustments.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and religious or festive breaks, as continuous service is essential.
