We’re looking for our next Customer Service Assistant to deliver a luxury, home-from-home experience for our residents, starting their day with our luxury breakfast offerings.
Our Customer Service Assistant
Provide an exceptional & personalised service to residents by anticipating and delivering to their needs; offering information on local attractions; and handling enquiries with a focus on creating a seamless and positive experience.
- Front of House / Reception: greet and welcome residents and guests with a warm, friendly, and vibrant attitude.
- Be available for questions that may arise.
- Ensure our facilities are respected and well-maintained by residents & guests.
- Maintain the upkeep of our premium site & facilities; communal areas must be cleaned and maintained to a high standard at all times.
- Be proactive in delivering solutions to issues or challenges that may arise.
- Conduct regular block walks every 4-6 hours, surveying and reporting on the condition of the building.
- Manage & store parcels correctly to allow residents easy access to their deliveries.
- Act as the primary point of contact for any incidents or emergencies onsite.
- Maintain waste management areas following health & safety regulations, addressing potential hazards as needed.
Breakfast Specific Requirements
The breakfast period is one of the busiest times at Vita Student. Our Breakfast Customer Service Assistants are responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting a variety of breakfast foods in a timely manner, ensuring quality standards are met, while maintaining a clean and organised kitchen workspace, often requiring adherence to food safety regulations and effective communication with the breakfast service team.
- Prepare, cook, and present a variety of breakfast foods promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace.

- Monitor produce stock levels and communicate needs to the site manager; assist in ordering produce to maintain inventory.
- Ensure the kitchen and breakfast areas are clean and tidy.
- Deep-clean equipment such as fridges & ovens as required.
- Replenish refreshment stocks like coffee beans, tea bags, milk, and vending machine products.
