Overview
Assistant Residence Manager – Cardiff
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Hours Per Week: 45 Hours per week
Working Patterns: Our Management Team work collaboratively throughout the full working week Monday – Sunday. Shifts can start as early as 7am and finish as late as 9pm with an expectation of doing 2 late finishes per week. Days and hours will rotate weekly subject to demands and team availability, including 1 weekend in 3 or 4.

We are looking for an accomplished Assistant Residence Manager to support the Residence Manager, lead the on-site team, and execute operational strategies to achieve brand objectives.
Responsibilities
- Support our Residence Manager in leading a team of colleagues, delivering exceptional customer service, strong leadership, and best-practice processes for optimal service and delivery.
- Lead and motivate the team to achieve high performance with clear communication and a positive work environment.
- Tenant Management – Handle resident enquiries, address complaints, resolve disputes, and maintain positive relationships with tenants and guests.
- Maintenance Oversight – Coordinate repairs and maintenance requests with operatives and contractors; inspect property for issues and ensure timely completion of works.
- Health & Safety/Compliance – Enforce building rules and regulations, ensuring adherence to laws and safety standards.
- Emergency Response – Act as the first point of contact for emergencies and coordinate necessary actions during critical situations.
- Marketing & Event Management – Assist with marketing vacant studios, show properties to potential tenants, manage the leasing process, and organise events to foster a community.

Professional Experience
- Experienced and accomplished leader with oversight of team management, daily operations, facilities management, and budgeting.
- Premium brand ambassador with experience representing a luxury brand and communicating its values to customers.
- Developed and implemented customer satisfaction programs.
- Compliant with building safety standards.
- Technologically adept with familiarity of relevant systems and software supporting operations.
Personal Characteristics
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to motivate, lead, and develop teams.
- Hands-on attitude with strong communication and people management skills.
