Our client, a successful and growing main contractor based in South Woodford, is seeking an experienced Construction Contracts Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded construction professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing approximately 5-6 live construction projects at any one time, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest standards of quality. This is a key leadership role within the business and offers the opportunity to play an integral part in the company's continued growth and success.
Key Responsibilities- Manage multiple construction projects from inception through to completion
- Oversee contract administration, commercial performance and project delivery
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and in line with client expectations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and site teams
- Monitor project progress, costs and programme performance
- Identify and mitigate commercial and operational risks
- Provide leadership and support to project teams across multiple sites
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety and contractual requirements
- Proven experience working as a Construction Contracts Manager for a main contractor
- Demonstrable experience managing 5-6 live construction projects simultaneously
- Ability to perform effectively within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of construction contracts
- Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and project teams
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and hands-on approach
- Full UK driving licence preferred
