We are currently looking for a Telescopic Forklift Driver / Labourer to join a busy construction site on the Isle of Sheppey. This is a varied role, and while you will be operating the telescopic forklift as required, there will be periods when you will be expected to assist with general labouring duties around site. We are looking for someone who is happy to be hands-on and work as part of the site team.
Telescopic Forklift Driver Requirements:
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Telescopic Forklift ticket (essential)
- Previous experience operating a telescopic forklift on construction sites
- Willingness to carry out general labouring duties when not operating the forklift
- Good understanding of site health and safety
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work well within a team
Telescopic Forklift Driver Duties include:
- Operating the telescopic forklift safely and efficiently
- Moving and distributing materials around site
- Assisting trades and site management as required
- Carrying out general labouring duties, including keeping the site clean and tidy
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the project
