We are recruiting an Estimating Manager to join a growing construction business, a truly exciting opportunity for an experienced Estimating Manager to take the lead in shaping our estimating function. As our business expands, as the Estimating Manager you will manage a team of six Estimators, overseeing tenders for new build and refurbishment projects across the public sector, with values from £100k to £10m.
What You will Do:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of six Estimators.
- Prepare and review tenders and cost plans, ensuring bids are accurate, competitive, and commercially sound.
- Work closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver high quality submissions.
- Drive improvements in estimating processes and team performance.
- Report directly to senior management and influence strategy for the estimating department.
About You:
- Proven track record as an Estimating Manager or Senior Estimator in construction.
- Strong experience in new build and refurbishment projects.
- Public sector experience is essential.
